I am a Learning Resource Teacher at Summit Elementary School in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. That means that I work with small groups of high achieving students in all subject areas. I also coordinate differentiated learning plans for our identified gifted and talented students. The last part of my job is to work with the classroom teachers and the students in the computer lab, integrating technology into their curriculum and teaching skills and lesson on the computers. This is my first year in this position, however I have been teaching for 12 years - 2 in Illinois, 8 in California, and 2 in Wisconsin. When I'm not at work, I love being outdoors, traveling, and reading.
